Summary
Pulenaz’s short woodland loop and Miranda’s longer hill walk make different amounts of time available for noticing the route; neither treats reaching the top as the day’s only reward.

Pulenaz: a short walk that feels complete
Pulenaz’s 3 km woodland loop begins close to home and climbs gradually to a clearing. She stops where the path opens, looks back through the trunks and notices the light falling across the ground. Instead of extending the outing to a second viewpoint, she takes the loop back through the trees.
The whole walk, including pauses, takes 1 hour 15 minutes and gains about 60 m. Her camera stays on the path long enough to hear steps and wind; her comments are intermittent. The result suits a day with limited time: there is a beginning, a place to pause and a different return stretch, so the shorter outing has its own shape.
The clearing, rather than a summit, provides a natural turnaround. The decision matters because the video makes looking around the activity rather than a reward saved for the end.
Miranda: the route is more than its high point
Miranda Goes Outside takes an 8 km out-and-back hill route with about 320 m of ascent. The 3 hours 20 minutes include a pause at a stream and a snack stop on the hillside. She does reach higher ground, but the camera also stays with the approach and the descent, where the view changes as the path turns.
At the snack stop she chooses to linger rather than immediately continue uphill. That makes the stream and hillside part of the story in their own right. The return follows the same trail, but the camera faces back down the valley, giving the familiar ground a different perspective.
Miranda describes her YouTube work as sharing hiking, backpacking and camping after beginning with a summer job at an outdoor store when she was new to those activities.

Her account is a good alternative when there is time for a longer trail day and more conversation. Pulenaz’s shorter loop is the better match for a compact, quiet outing.
