Lana Rhoades's Season by Season uses four captioned photo chapters to follow one adult fictional character through a seasonal concept. In The Changing Window, the character returns to the same room as autumn light changes: the first chapter establishes a bright afternoon, later chapters move the portraits toward lamplight, and the final chapter brings the earlier setting back after dark. The changing light and the return to the room give the sequence a structure beyond a seasonal accessory.
