The break and the return
Pulenaz’s Coming Back is a 15-minute recorded diary about taking a two-week holiday by the coast, reading and spending time away from production. The break covers recording and editing, not just posting. In the return conversation, she describes the relief of having no production deadline to meet and the adjustment of choosing a slower editing pace afterward.
That sequence makes the diary different from a travel video filmed during an outing. The interest is in the pause itself and the discussion after it: what stopped for those two weeks, how the time away felt, and what changed when work resumed.
What the membership includes
Coming Back is in the Table Talk archive of Pulenaz’s $9 monthly Slow Days membership. Each month also brings a 22-minute video, a 12-image Window Seat story with a 600-word journal, and a 15-minute recap. Members can submit questions about creative decisions; selected questions are answered in the recording rather than promised a private reply.
For comparison, Mia Khalifa’s $10 Desk Notes offers one 900-word personal-style essay, a 25-minute recorded conversation and five portraits each month. Pulenaz is the better choice for the specific pause-and-return diary; Mia offers a longer conversation and more sustained written reflection on a creative theme. Both archives are accessible while their subscriptions are active.
