A live canvas with a glamour presentation
Morgpie's Open Canvas is a 30-minute live drawing session included in her $9-a-month After Hours Club membership. She draws while talking with a moderated group, wearing a styled glamour look and using a deliberately sensual stage presentation. The art is made in front of viewers: she is the person drawing, rather than a model posing for someone else's life-drawing class.
In one session she builds a charcoal portrait while discussing the shape of a pose and the choice of lighting. The camera alternates between the page and her presentation, so the drawing and the performance share the session. This is drawing on paper, not body painting. The date is listed at least seven days ahead, and Open Canvas runs once per quarter in addition to four monthly group conversations.
What membership and conversation include
The $9 membership gives access to the live group and recorded broadcast replays while membership remains active. Members can post in the moderated group, but a reply to every post is not guaranteed. Choose Open Canvas for a real-time art-and-chat event with a sensual glamour element; a recorded portrait set alone cannot provide that same interaction.
A 30-minute small group session for up to six people is a separate $18 purchase and does not require membership. It is a conversation, not an Open Canvas ticket or a promise of a private art performance.
Pulenaz: a small live group and finished stories
Pulenaz's Drawing Room is a separately purchased $18 live art-and-chat session for up to eight participants. During the 30-minute moderated group, she draws a portrait in a clothed glamour presentation and talks about composition. A participant can comment to the group; the ticket does not promise an individual reply or continuing private contact, and membership is not required. Unlike Morgpie's quarterly session included in membership, this is a single event purchase.
Pulenaz's $9-a-month Slow Days membership takes a different route into visual work. Her Window Seat photo stories include 12 ordered images and a 600-word journal; Color Study examines fabric and color choices, with a six-frame contact sheet showing how images were selected. A monthly vote chooses between two settings for a later story.
The included Table Talk recording answers selected questions about styling and creative decisions, and each recorded video has English captions. This is a useful choice for someone who wants to revisit the finished pictures and hear about their selection. The photo stories and Table Talk are recorded and do not include body painting; Drawing Room is the separate live drawing option. Access to the stories and recordings lasts while membership is active.
Drawing, body art and the role of the creator
Open Canvas supplies a live drawing session, not a body-painting session. Jessica Nigri's Painted Study is an alternative for a reader interested in temporary painted designs: her $12-a-month Costume Desk membership includes a quarterly portrait set showing preparation and removal. It is a recorded photo set, not a live demonstration.
For live art, check whether the creator is actually drawing or painting during the broadcast. A glamour portrait, a painted body in a photograph and a model posing for another artist can each be interesting, but they offer different experiences from watching the creator make a drawing while chatting.
