Pulenaz: a seaside image on screen and on paper

Pulenaz's Coast Postcards is a 12-image seaside glamour story with a 600-word location journal and a six-frame contact sheet. Its public preview shows three images and a journal excerpt. One of those seaside images also appears in her Postcard set, a $12 one-time order containing three printed photographs and a handwritten note. A reader can see the style online before choosing the physical set; the print order does not require a subscription.

The full Coast Postcards story belongs to the $9 monthly Slow Days membership. That is a different purchase from the postcards: membership gives access to the complete ordered story and journal while active, while the separate print set provides three physical photographs and the note.

Jessica Nigri: using her body to make an impression

Jessica Nigri's Impression Study is a $16 one-time purchase with a 12-minute downloadable studio video and a print of the finished abstract artwork. In the video she applies washable pigment to her own body, presses it onto paper and selects the resulting impression for printing. The visible marks on paper are the artwork; this is a body impression rather than a photograph of a painted body. The soft overlapping forms give it a sensual quality without relying on a literal portrait.

The package includes the finished print and video, with no subscription required. Her separate Painted Study, included quarterly in the $12 monthly Costume Desk membership, instead documents a temporary painted design on skin in a portrait set. The two works use paint for different results.

A playful painting interpretation

In a Costume Desk diary, Nigri reimagines Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa as a costume portrait: she keeps the folded-hands pose and hazy landscape but gives the sitter oversized costume details and a mischievous expression. The 25-minute paid diary follows the sketch, materials and fittings through to the finished portrait set. It is her own playful take on the familiar composition, rather than an impression print.

Costume Desk costs $12 a month and includes the monthly diary and portrait set; released installments can be streamed or read while membership is active. The Impression Study is separately priced, so the membership is the choice for following the costume process and the one-time purchase is the choice for owning that abstract print.
