Eva zu Beck: the people along the way
Eva zu Beck walks across England from Southport to Hornsea, following a west-to-east journey through towns and open stretches. In a café stop she asks the owner which part of the town has changed most; the owner points to a former mill and describes the building's new use. Eva walks past it after leaving, giving the conversation a place in the route rather than leaving it behind at the table.
Later she meets a gardener who describes how the canal path brings walkers through the area. The film returns to the canal after their exchange, so the viewer sees what the gardener was talking about as Eva continues toward the next stop.
A crossing assembled in shorter trips
Miranda Goes Outside follows a staged walk across the United States, traveling from Cape Henlopen, Delaware, to Seattle, Washington over separate trips. The first finishes in Pittsburgh; the second begins there and reaches Chicago. Later trips continue from Chicago to Minneapolis, then to Billings and finally Seattle. Each episode returns to the last stopping point before adding the next section.
The gaps between trips become part of the series. A spring start gives way to summer sections and an autumn return, and the repeated handoff points make the order clear. The videos let a viewer follow the coast-to-coast project in pieces rather than asking for a single uninterrupted journey.
In a podcast interview, Miranda Webster describes moving to Seattle as her outdoor-media work developed. Backpacker identified her as a Washington-based hiker in its 2025 New Year feature; the project finishes in that state.

Following the route rather than a single episode
The Trans Pennine Trail's official site describes a coast-to-coast route between Southport and Hornsea across northern England. That shared geography helps place the endpoints; the individual filming choices and conversations give the two accounts different reasons to watch.

Eva's café conversation changes what she notices on the next stretch. Miranda's repeated departures make the continuity of a journey assembled over separate trips visible, even when weeks pass between episodes.
