Before a break starts: Pulenaz

A useful break notice gives subscribers a date to act on. In Pulenaz’s Slow Days membership, an October 1 notice says the posting break will run from October 4 through October 18, with an update due October 19. Because the notice arrives before the break begins, members know what is happening before a scheduled release is affected.

Coming Back, an included 15-minute production diary, reflects on that roughly two-week pause and the change in editing pace afterward. The notice does not require a private explanation. The $9 monthly membership continues billing unless canceled, so the subscriber can decide whether to keep access during the break.

When a delay needs an update: Valentina Nappi

Valentina Nappi’s $10-per-month After the Take includes a monthly 24-minute production conversation. In a separate example, a subscriber update on October 5 explains that the planned release is delayed while the edit is completed and promises a further update on October 12. That message tells members what is delayed and when to expect news; it is an update during an interruption, not advance notice before one.

Her offer states that a posting break is announced before the next scheduled release and that billing continues unless the member cancels. An explanation about an edit does not imply a personal or medical cause, and the billing rule is a separate fact from the posting notice.

Read the notice and the billing rule together

Choose Pulenaz’s example when advance warning and a defined break window matter most. Valentina’s update shows how a creator can communicate a delay already in progress. In either offer, an expected update is useful for planning, while continued billing determines the cost of waiting; one announcement alone does not tell a buyer how often future releases will arrive.
