What a production note can tell you

Pulenaz’s Color Study specifies that the set uses color and exposure edits without reshaping her body. Its 12-image Window Seat story compares fabrics and color choices, with a six-frame contact sheet and a journal explaining the selections. In one portrait the shoulders sit at visibly different heights, and the final image retains that uneven presentation rather than forcing a symmetrical silhouette. The note describes the editing choice; the image alone would not establish the workflow.

Window Seat is part of the $9 monthly Slow Days membership, with one photo story on the third Friday and released installments available while subscribed. A separate $15 downloadable collection contains the first four complete stories and journals, not future installments.

Compare the disclosed changes

Brittanya Razavi’s Silver Evening also states that its images use color and exposure edits without body reshaping. Silver accessories and a dark outfit appear in two light setups; the production note makes it possible to distinguish the adjustments from a claim that nothing was edited. Her $11 monthly The Outfit Edit membership includes a 14-image captioned fashion set and a 12-minute styling video in each combined installment.

A disclosure can also say that substantial retouching was used. The useful question is what changed: body shape, color, exposure, crop or another feature. A contact sheet shows image selection, but by itself it does not prove which digital edits were made after selection.

How to choose

Choose Pulenaz for a disclosed no-reshaping portrait set with a journal and contact sheet; Color Study makes the editing boundary part of the account of how the images were made. Choose Brittanya for styling across two lighting setups with a similar disclosure. Both specify the set in question, giving the reader more useful information than a broad “unedited” label.
