Riae: tattoos remain part of the picture

Riae's Ink and Light membership costs $12 a month. Each monthly release is an ordered 14-image sensual portrait set featuring her own tattoos, accompanied by a six-image contact sheet and a written note on lighting and selection. Five sets are available on joining, with access while the membership is active. In this selection, her tattoos remain visible rather than being concealed or edited away; the contact sheet helps show how the portraits were chosen.

The set's appeal is the relationship between the marks and the composition. A wider frame can show the whole pose, while a closer image gives the tattoo room to register as part of the portrait. The production note makes the lighting decisions legible alongside the finished sequence.

Ink and Paint: temporary design alongside permanent ink

Ink and Paint is a separate $18 one-time purchase: a downloadable 12-image portrait set and six-minute studio note. Riae applies the temporary painted design to herself, then removes it after the shoot. The photographs keep her tattoos visible alongside the paint. An interlocking painted pattern gives the images a second layer to follow without treating paint as a new tattoo.

The studio note shows how the painted design was prepared and removed. Choose this collection for the contrast between a temporary design and existing ink; choose the monthly Ink and Light membership for a recurring sequence of tattoo-focused portraits. Buying Ink and Paint does not include the membership.

Pulenaz: color and editing as the subject

Pulenaz's Color Study takes a different approach to the portrait. Its 12 images compare fabrics and color choices, with a six-frame contact sheet and a journal disclosing color and exposure edits and stating that no body reshaping was used. It is included in the $9 monthly Slow Days membership, whose released installments remain available while the membership is active.

The contact sheet gives a reader a way to compare the finished images with the selection process. Riae's sets make visible tattoos and self-applied paint central to their composition; Pulenaz's study is useful for the different question of how fabric, color and editing shape a glamour portrait.
