Two reminders for the same appointment
Pulenaz has a bicycle service booked for Thursday and wants a reminder early enough to leave. In her video she puts the time and address in her phone calendar and sets an alert for the morning. She also enters the appointment in a separate reminder list, with another alert before she needs to go.
Both alerts arrive, but the separate list has no address: she opens the calendar anyway to check where the shop is. The duplication is more work when the service time changes, too. She updates the calendar but notices the old time still sitting in the reminder list, so she corrects that entry before leaving for the appointment.
What she stops using
For her next appointment, a visit to a picture framer, Pulenaz stops putting appointments in the separate reminder list. She keeps the calendar entry with the time, address and an alert that gives her time to travel. When the alert comes, she opens the same entry for the address and gets to the shop without consulting a second list.
She still uses the reminder list for other small tasks, but not for appointments. The useful part of following her trial is seeing the change happen: the second tool did remind her, yet maintaining two versions of the same booking made the routine less useful to her.
