A documented beginning
Wilkerson says she had never used a power tool when she began her blog. Her site separates furniture, workshop and other projects, and links the video tutorials she later began making.
Learning chairmaking techniques
In her April 2020 account, Wilkerson builds a Democratic chair with Greg Pennington, starting with splitting a log and working through shaping, steam bending and assembly. She describes this as her first chair and first experience with steam bending.
